Generally maintain one acre yard and trees as needed. This will include mowing, trimming and maintaining the automated sprinkler system.
Cut and stack cedar saplings during cooler periods in the winter months only.
Control fire ants around yard near the house, near the picnic table, near new RV parking pads and storage barn. Use fire ant killer on any other fire ant mounds that are noted.
Refill and maintain feeders and feed the fish.
Check the mail daily; keep mail in house and forward as requested.
Check on the house at least weekly, dust and clean floors as necessary.
Check existing birdhouses, clear of any wasps, make notes if nests are occupied (and which species of bird if known). Clean out old nests if they are not occupied, and make note of action taken.
Keep birding journal of birds seen with location and details (when, where, how many times).
Perform any other duties for any items that need attention, correction, or repair as necessary.
E-mail Bruce weekly with report of activities, results and hours worked. Call if necessary to discuss problems and resolve questions.
Account for expenditures of petty cash advance monthly and send written report via e-mail.
Make final accounting report at end of stay.
